KREAM DARAKREAM FOOTBALL CLUB is a football club based in Kawempe, Uganda. The club was founded in 1976 and currently plays in the Uganda Premier League.
History
KREAM DARAKREAM FOOTBALL CLUB was founded in 1976 by a group of young men from Kawempe. The club's name is a combination of the words "KREAM" and "Darakream", which are local slang terms for "to play football".
The club initially played in the lower leagues of Ugandan football. However, they soon began to achieve success, winning promotion to the top flight in 1985.
KREAM DARAKREAM FOOTBALL CLUB have won the Uganda Premier League on three occasions, in 1992, 2000, and 2010. They have also won the Uganda Cup on four occasions, in 1993, 1994, 2000, and 2010.
Stadium
KREAM DARAKREAM FOOTBALL CLUB play their home games at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala. The stadium has a capacity of 45,000 spectators.
