NEWS

Congratulations Bromley!!!

Congratulations to our good neighbours Bromley FC on their promotion to the EFL.

Weekend round-up: 4/5 May

The First XI returned to action with a 3-2 home league win over Crockenhill under the stewardship of Gary Willison and Paul Raggett, as Paul Eddleston was away. Lee Friend, Dekklund Wallace and Tommy Chalker were on target.

The Second XI lost 1-0 away to Eltham Town in the league. Player/manager Jez Allen lamented last minute drop-outs and a string of missed chances.

The Saturday Vets had no scheduled fixture.

The Colts had their second Saturday match in three weeks with a trip to Dulwich Village Black in the Red Shield. They won 6-4 with Bobby Slatter (2), Alfie Simon, John Phillips, Sonny Harbert and an own goal on the scoresheet. With Hayden Youth unable to field a team for the scheduled Sunday fixture, the Colts are in to the final of the shield.

Steve Townsend's hat-trick helped the Sunday XI avenge February's home defeat against FC Bickley with a 3-1 away win to go top of the table, although other teams have matches in hand.

Both Vets sides won their home games. The Red Vets defeated Glendale Vets 3-2 with goals from Sean Blackwell, Gary Harrigan and Aaron McWilliams while the Yellow Vets saw off Sanco Vets by 4-2. Their goals were scored by Jack Loizou, Jay Hardy and Chisa Mkala.

The Under 13s have finished their season.
